Most of the wood I carve is white pine, sourced from local arborists. For whatever reason the tree needed to come down.
We peel the bark and this ends up in the township's yard waste compost.
The saw dust is collected for friends who have horses.
And the wood bits that are too small to carve end up as kindling for friend's fire pits.
